Where do I get the app?
Train Rivals is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone and Google Play for Android. Search for "Train Rivals" once it's out.
Do I need an invite to use Train Rivals?
No. Anyone can download the app, sign up and start logging workouts. Invites are only for squads, which are private groups of friends.
How do I join or start a squad?
To join, ask someone in the squad to send you an invite link from the app, then open it on your phone.
To start your own, go to the Squad tab, create a squad and share its invite link with the people you train with.
I got a new phone. Will I lose my workouts?
No. Your workouts are saved to your account. Download Train Rivals on your new phone and sign in with your passkey, or with a code we email you. Everything will be there.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Workouts you log offline are saved on your phone and sync to your squad the next time you're online.
How do I switch between kg and lb?
Go to Me and change Units. Your past workouts convert automatically. Friends see your lifts in their own units.
Who can see my workouts?
Only people in your squads. Your bodyweight is never shown to anyone. Your squad sees your strength level, not the numbers behind it. Read the privacy policy for details.
How do I leave a squad?
On the Squad tab, tap the squad's name and choose Leave. Your workout history stays in your account. If you ran the squad, the member who has been in it longest takes over.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Me and choose Delete account, or email us from the address on your account. Your account and workout data are deleted straight away, and copies in backups are removed within 30 days. You'll be asked to type delete to confirm. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
Report a problem
Email us with:
- your phone model (for example, iPhone 15 or Pixel 8)
- what you tapped and what you expected to happen
- a screenshot or screen recording if you can
Before you write, check the App Store or Google Play for an update. The newest version may already fix it.
